NATIONAL PARTY
MORNINGTON ELECTORATE The Green Island branch of the Mornington electorate held its annual meeting in the Foresters’ Hall on Thursday evening. Mr J. Adam preSi< The chairman made reference to the energetic part which the branch had played in the affairs of the e^f. c " torate, and specially mentioned the social functions held during the year. He appealed for maximum support during the coming election campaign so that every available vote should be recorded in the party’s interests. Mr Waller, chairman of the electorate, spoke of party affairs generally and the divisional secretary, Mr A. C. Laing, discussed the general organisation of the party and arrangements for the coming election campaign. A committee with Mr J. Adam as acting chairman and Mr G. Thomson as deputy chairman, and representative of all parts of the district, was set up.
