MAJOR EARTHQUAKE IN NORTH PACIFIC
NEW YORK, Rec. 11.50 p.m. Mar. 24. A major earthquake rocked the bottom of the Pacific for over two hours to-day, 50 miles off the Northern Californian coast. No tidal waves or other disturbances were reported.
