BROKEN FOOD CONTRACT NZPA—Reuter—Copyright Rec. 9.22 p.m. LONDON, Mar. 24. The Government took a very serious view of the failure of the Argentine to ship the contracted quantity of food, said the Minister of Food, Mr John Strachey, in a speech. The Argentine needed Britain's products and Britain needed hers. “We cannot and shall not reach agreement if the Argentine Government fails to live up to its contracts or asks exorbitant terms for new contracts,” he said.
