SENTENCED TO DEATH
JAPANESE WAR CRIMINAL Rec. 9.45 p.m. MANILA, Mar. 23. The Philippines War Crimes Commission to-day sentenced former Rearadmiral Take'sue Furuse, of the Japanese Navy, to death before a firing squad for his responsibility in killing 152 Filipino civilians in Quezon province in April and May. 1945.
