TO-DAY’S RECIPE
DUTCH LOAF 3 teacups flour. 2 teacups bran. 1 good teaspoon butter. X good cup brown sugar. 1 teaspoon baking soda. 1 teaspoon baking powder. 1 egg. X cup raisins or other dried fruit. Pinch salt. 1 small cup of milk. Rub butter into dry ingredients. Beat egg, and add with milk. Bake in loaf tin for about one hour.
