RANFURLY CLUB
There was an attendance of 35 at the annual meeting of the Ranfurly Football Club and Mr E. J. Murphy was in the chair. The balance sheet showed a profit of nearly £lO during the previous season when particularly heavy travelling expenses had been incurred. Arrangements were discussed for the return matches against the Otekaike and Union (Dunedin) senior teams. The opening day was fixed for the first Saturday after Easter. The final arrangements for the holding of a farewell to the All Black members of the club, J. C. Kearney and W. A. Meates. in the Ranfurly Hall on Friday night next were completed. The election of office-bearers resulted: President. Mr R- J- Hanrahan; senior vice-president. Mr R- Roney; secretary, Mr J. S. Hanrahan; auditor, Mr A. H. Macdonald; committee—Messrs E. J. Murphy, G. Phillip, R. Roney, E. C. Wood and A. Mitchell; sub-union delegates, Messrs E. C. Wood and E. J. Murphy.
