DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE INCREASED TURNOVER There was a great deal more life in the share market yesterday, and the best turnover in almost a month was consequently achieved on the Dunedin Stock Exchange. Felt and Textiles preference “ rights " were traded at 2s 6d and 2s sd. and New Zealand Breweries firmed to business at 48s 3d, with interested buyers remaining in at that figure. Sellers were Is away. Woolworths, Ltd., were closely quoted, 20s 2d buyer and 20s 3d seller, and the shares of the New Zealand Company were sought at 22s 9d, seller 235. The seller of Milburn Lime and Cement was responsible for the closer quotation 31s Od buyer, 32s seller. Australian Foundation " rights ” improved from opening quotations of 2d buyer and 6d seller to 3d and 5d respectively, but little interest was displayed.
