GUAM ASSEMBLY WALKS OUT

Rec. 9 p.m. GUAM, Mar. 5. The Assembly of Guam walked out in protest to-day against what it said was an American Navy attempt to curtail its legislative authority. A spokesman said they would remain adjourned until the United States Congress acts on a Bill to give the island organic and civil government. The walk-out was caused by the navy’s refusal to permit a Congressional warrant to be served on a civil service employee charged with contempt of Congress for refusing the answer of one of its committees.
