WIN IN LOTTERY CONFIRMATION AWAITED NO “CASTLES IN THE AIR” PA WELLINGTON, Mar. 9. He is not making any plans until he sees the money, says Mr Tom Walsh, proprietor of the Grand National Hotel, Petone, who is believed to have won £IO,OOO in an overseas lottery. It was only after numerous promptings from his friends that he compared his ticket number with that reported in newspapers, said Mr Walsh. The numbers correspondend. He had sent away his ticket but he was not going to “build any castles in the air” and would wait until he “saw the gilt edges” before he decided what he was going to do. Mr Walsh has taken tickets in this same lottery for a number of years, but up till now has won only small prizes.
