PA CHRISTCHURCH, Mar. 9. “Naturally I am pleased with the result of the gaming poll and have no doubt that the days of illegal bookmakers are numbered,” said Mr C. S. Thomas, representing the Trotting Conference. “Might I suggest to the churches that they assist the Racing and Trotting Conferences in this matter? I can assure them that any suggestions for improvement or better control will receive the utmost sideration.”
