PA AUCKLAND, Mar. 8. Another remarkable swimming performance was given at the Olympic pool to-night by the 16 : year-old New Zealand junior champion, Miss W. Griffin,' in winning the Auckland secondary schoolgirls 110 Yards championship in 72sec. This was the fastest time ever recorded by a New Zealand woman swimmer. The nearest comparable senior time is the national women’s senior record of 71 4-ssec for the 100 Metres by Miss E. Stockley in 1929.
