ASSOCIATION PROTESTS

BATHS AT FRASER’S GULLY \ “The association views seriously the neglect that had been allowed to take place at the Fraser’s Gully baths after so many appeals had been made to the council, and hopes that the matter will be put right immediately.” This motion was passed at a meeting of the Roslyn and Kaikorai Ratepayers’ Association last night, when’ it was reported that the baths at Fraser’s Gully were in a dilapidated state. Several representations had been made by the association, but nothing had been done by the council. , , , The City Council was also requested to close the tip at Dean street. The tip was used on two days a week and a light filling was put over it, but the front was left open all the time, and the association thought that it should be closed up. Congratulations are to be conveyed to Sir Donald Cameron on being invited to Edinburgh, and on being given leave of absence by his council.
