CONTAINER CHARGE .DISPUTE PRIME MINISTER’S INDICATION PA AUCKLAND, Feb, 21. > A tribunal is . likely to be set up to' arbitrate in the dispute between produce growers and retailers over fruit and vegetable container'charges. This was indicated by the Prime Minister, Mr Fraser, to-night after he @ had held separate - , discussions with the representatives of. the' Retailers’ Federation and various growers’ organisations. ; -- Mr Fraser .said there were good prospects of arbitration, the final form of which had yet to be decided. Members of deputations he had met during the day had. agreed to consult their full executives on the proposals. The acceptance of arbitration would meaii reverting to the. status quo unfit the decision was announced.
