Earnings Of Attack And Captain Sandy
Attack brought his total earnings for the season to £6634 by his dual success at Epsom on Saturday, He has had eight wins on end and one third placing in 15 starts. Captain Sandy’s second to Attack in the Otahuhu Handicap was worth £SOO to him and it brought his total for the season to £7879 from seven wins and four placings in 12 starts. Captain Sandy put up a great performance on Saturday to go under by a nose to Attack after giving the Christchurch speedster 36 yards at the start. It will be Interesting to see what the position will be when they meet off the same mark. Over a two-mile journey the Oamaru champion would probably be successful.
