ITALIAN DOCTORS FOR AUSTRALIA
Rec. 8.30 p.m. HOBART, Feb. 2. A Federal Government move to bring doctors from Italy is believed to be part of u plan to implement the National Health Scheme resulting from the refusal of the British Medical Association to participate in the scheme. A reciprocal arrangement would be sought for the interchange ©f doctors between the two countries The Premier. Mr R Cosgrove announced that his Government had agreed to a request by the Commonwealth for reciprocal rights to en \ble Italian doctors to practise in Australia. The Tasmanian Government favoured the, admission of a limited number because of the good services of Italian doctors already practising here.
