NEW AUSTRALIAN WOOL PRICE RECORD
Rec. 11.20 p.m. HOBART, Feb. 2. A record Australian price of 2101 d per lb was paid at the wool sales at Launceston to-day for one bale of extra superfine merino wool. Superfine merinos from the midlands of Tasmania usually top the Australian market.
