CRICKET TROPHY
An offer from Mr L. A. Cuff of the ball used whep he and J. D. Lawrence scored 306 for Canterbury in an opening partnership against Auckland in 1894 has been accepted by the management committee of the Canterbury Cricket Association. Mr Cuff now lives in Tasmania. The partnership remains the best for the first wicket in first class matches in New Zealand.
