FIVE WINNERS RIDDEN AT HASTINGS PA HASTINGS, Jan. 2. The Hawke’s Bay Jockey Club’s summer meeting opened on Saturday in overcast weather. The course was firm and there was a large attendance. The portable electric totalisator operated for the first time in Hastings, handling £51,885 10s for the day compared with £58,433 10s on the first day last year. L.
