Win for Meadowbank Further matches in the North Otago Lawn Tennis Association’s A, B, and C Grade competitions were played under perfect conditions on Saturday. In the A Grade Meadowbank beat Wesley by 10 matches (15 sets) to 6 matches (10 sets), and Awamoa won by default from Waihao Results were:— A Grade Meadowbfink v. Wesley A (Meadowbank names first): — Men’s Singles.—R. Sowden lost to A. Higgins 3—6, I—6; G. Knowles lost to C. Herron 4—6, I—6k R. Heenan beat K. Logan 6—l, 6—5; E. Laney beat L. Battersby 6—2, 6—2 Women’s Singles.—R. Melton lost to M. Kennedy 4—6. 4—6: Mrs Watson beat A. Hamilton 6—4, 6—2; G. Palmer beat C. Brown 9—5; A. Neill beat G. Bell 9 —2.
