FIRE CALL
The Oamaru Volunteer Fire Brigade received a call at 1.40 p.m. to a fire in a hedge adjacent to the cottage at St. Kevin’s College. Fortunately, the brigade arrived in time to extinguish the fire before it could do any damage.
