MACHINERY TESTING

AGRICULTURAL COLLEGE POST PA AUCKLAND, Dec. 17. Testing farm machinery, a new feature introduced at Canterbury Agricultural College, is the speciality of Mr R. H. Cochrane, who arrived by the Ceramic to take up the position of lecturer in this subject at the college. He recently graduated from Cambridge and has spent some time at the National Institute for Agricultural Engineering in England. Mr Cochrane said it was hoped that the testing of farm machinery would become an important part of the work at the college. With that object close relationship with the machinery testing station in England had been established.
