CLOUDY WITH RAIN The official weather forecast issued by the Government Meteorologist in Welington is:— Situation.—An anti-cyclone is moving across New Zealand and a deep depression lies in the South Tasman. Forecast to 5 p.m.—Fresh to strong northerly to westerly winds; weather cloudy, with some rain during the morning, and mainly fair inland this afternoon, but showers persisting near the coast. Temperatures moderate. Further Outlook.—Changeable southwesterly weather.' . Wcnther in Dunedin.—Although lGhr 42min of sunshine were recorded in Dunedin yesterday, the day did not end without a shower o£ rain. Temperatures ranged between 53.5 degrees and 62 decrees, and a rainfall of 0.16 in was registerea. A south-west wind blew during the day. The barometer at midnight registered 30.12 in.
