PORT OF OTAGO IMPORTS AND EXPORTS The total of imports for the month (24,582 tons) was 2600 tons more than for the corresponding period of last year, stated the report of the chief executive officer presented at last evening's meeting of the Otago Harbour Board. The total was made up of 16,972 tons of coastal and intercolonial imports and 7610 tons of overseas imports. The total of exports for the month of October was 7547 tons, of which 1706 tons were overseas exports. The total for the month was 8300 tons less than for the corresponding period of last year. , _ The arrivals for the month of October were as follows, the corresponding figures for last year being shown in parenthesis: Coastal, 25 vessels, 11,847 tons net (19 vessels, 8225 tons); intercolonial 3 vessels, 7395 tons net (4 vessels, 7932 tons); oversea, 6 vessels, 30,219 tons net (6 vessels, 32,585 tons). Totals: Thirty-four vessels, 49,461 tons net (29 vessels, 48,742 tons).
