Sir,—Dunedin must congratulate itseli on the representative to the Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference in the person of Mr Connolly. What a Telief to oup civic authorities to learn that' their worries are now over. Mr Connolly says in an interview with the royal couple, “ If anyone in Dunedin Central —my electorate—gets into difficulties they get in touch with me, and I hope your Majesties will do the same.” . And the Queen graciously requested Mr Connolly to leave his telephone number: ■ Now, isn’t that lovely? And how . proud we shall all fefel. Yes, Mr Connolly is now a man of immense stature—grown out of all knowledge. But one is forced to recall the words of Bobbie Burns: “O wad some power the giftie gie us to see oursels as ithers see us.”—l am. etc.. Sane Citizen.
