COLLISION WITH TRAM
GIRL CYCLIST'S DEATH P.A. WANGANUI, Oct. 30. Turning across the path of an approaching tram when cycling in Victoria avenue yesterday afternoon, Margaret Jean Cook, the eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs H. C. Cook, of Okoia, was thrown to the ground when the tram hit the cycle she was riding. The girl was not struck by the tram, but apparently suffered injuries to the base of the skull, and died in hospital at 1 o’clock this morning.
