Principal A. L. Haddon, of. the Church of Christ College, will leave Dunedin tomorrow en route to the United States, where he will spend three months and ahalf lecturing in various university colleges. Principal Haddon, who is first vice-president of the World Convention of the Churches of Christ, has chosen as his theme for the lectures he is to deliver, "Aspects of Contemporary Christianity.” Sister Marion Friis was dedicated as matron of Ross Home at a service held cl the home on Saturday afternoon. The service was conducted by the model a tor of the presbytery, the Rev. A. M. Eihffe. Tne Rev. A. L. Cardno, of Kaitangata, v.-iio is a member of the Presbyterian Social Service Association Committee, preached the sermon, and Sister Marion was addressed by the Rev. C. M. Sullivan. Sister Marion, who is a trained nurse, has for the past three years been the nurse associated with Knox Church in Dunedin.
