CLOUDY AND MILD The official weather forecast issued by the Government Meteorologist in Wellington is:— Situation.—A deep depression is moving eastwards across the South Tasman Forecast to 5 p.m.--Moderate to fresh east or north-east winds, with some scattered rain in the far west, but elsewhere weather cloudy and mild.
