TRIBUNAL APPOINTED

GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENT INQUIRY ALLEGED IRREGULARITIES LONDON, Oct. 29. The Home Secretary, Mr Chuter Ede, announced in the House of Commons that' Mr Justice Lynskey would be chairman of the tribunal which is to inquire into alleged irregularities in Government departments. Two King’s Counsel, Messrs Russell Vick and Gerald Upjohn, would serve as members of the tribunal, which will hold its first sitting at the Law Courts on Monday. Mr Chuter Ede said the proceedings would be held in public, unless the tribunal thought it in the public interest that any part should be held-in private.
