IMPORTANT DISCUSSIONS p.A. WELLINGTON, Oct. 29. Arrangements have been completed for meetings in Wellington toward the end of-November of the South Pacific Air Transport Council, the Committee for Air Navigation and Ground Organisation and the Committee of Meteorologists, said the Minister in charge of the Air Department, Mr Jones, to-night. It is anticipated that the last two committees will meet on November 23 and the Air Transport Council on the

29th. Delegations from the United Kingdom, Australia, Fiji and possibly Canada will attend the meetings. “ One of the principal items to be discussed is the location of the international airport in Fiji,” said the Minister. ‘‘For some «time the Governments have had under consideration alternative sites to the present aerodrome at Nadi." Trans-Pacific and trans-Tasman services and regional services in the South Pacific area will also be discussed.
