CLOUDY AND MILD
The official weather forecast issued by the Government meteorologist in Wellington is:— Situation.—A deep depression lies south-west of New Zealand. Forecast to 5 p.m.—Moderate to fresh north-west winds; weather cloudy and mild, with some occasional showers, especially in the west. Weather in Dunedin Although the temperature rose np higher than 63.8 deg, yesterday was sultry in Dunedin. A total of 4hr 36min of sunshine was recorded and a northerly wind did little to lower the temperature, which did not fall to any extent during the evening. The minimum temperature was ,55.9 deg and the grass minimum 51.2 deg. A light rainfull amounted to 0.29 in. At midnight the barometer read 29.45 in.
