p A AUCKLAND, Oct. 29 Berlei (N.Z.), Ltd., proposes to divide e;ich of the existing 60,000 £1 fully-paid si lares. into four fully-paid 5s shares and tc i increase the capital of the company ti I £70,000, divided into 280,000 5s shares b y the issue of 40,000 new 5s shares. ■The new shares will rank in all respects p iiri passu with existing shares. The pror psals will be submitted to shareholders a t an extraordinary general meeting in Auckland on November 22. In order to i nake the subdivision of shares, ■ alterat ions to the company’s articles of association will be necessary, and shareholders vt'ill be asked to approve of the changes ljy a special resolution at the same meet- : big.
