meeting at tarras Special to the Daily Times CROMWELL, Oct 29 A well-attended meeting of ratepayers of Lindis Riding was held at Tarras on Wednesday for the purpose ol discussing the advisability of forming a ‘filler policy rabbit board. Mr w D. Naylor, chairman of the Vincent County Council, nresided, and after a lengthy discussion, it was unanimously decided that no action be taken until the finance to implement the scheme as outlined by the Rabbit Destruction Council was available. 'The meeting was of the opinion that thl“ killer "policy as .outlined by the Rabbit Destruction Council was a wages Scheme and would be uneconomical on the high country of Central Otago It was felt that the only practical scheme ZH a contract one.
