Governor-General Receives a Chair
P.A. WELLINGTON, Oct. 28. The Governor-General, Sir Bernard Freyberg, and Lady Freyberg were present yesterday at a meeting of the Priory Chapter of the Order bf St. John, where his Excellency received from the members of the Wellington district of the St. John Ambulance Brigade, on behalf of the Order, a prior’s chair made of Southland beech carved and embellished’ for use on formal occasions.
