SERVICE OF DEDICATION

NURSE FOR MISSION FIELD A service of dedication for Miss Nancy Higenbotham, who has been appointed a sister in the Jagadhri Hospital, India, was requested by the director of missions, the Rev. G. N. McDiarmid, in a letter which was received at a special meeting of the Dunedin Presbytery yesterday. The presbytery appointed a commission to conduct the service in St. Andrew’s Church on Thursday., October 21. Miss higenbotham. who is at present studying at the Women’s Training Institute, is a resident of Waverley, Taranaki, and received her nursing training at the Wellington Public Hospital. It is expected that she will leave for India towards the end of November.
