Forecast to 5 p.m.—Moderate to' fresh northerly winds; weather cloudy to overcast, with scattered rain de- . veloping from the west. Temperatures moderate. Weather in Dunedin. —Sunshine for Shr 24min and. mild temperatures varying between 49 and 56 dsgrees made yesterday very pleasant in the city. Rainfall to 9.30 a.nf. totalled o.lßin. A north-east Wfnd blew during' the dav. increasing in force to a strong breeze in the afternoon. A falling tendency was shown oy me barometer, which read 2U.!)sin st midnight.
