CLOUDY NEAR COAST The official weather forecast issued by the Government Meteorologist in Wellington, is:— Situation.—A low pressure trough lies east of New Zealand, and a depression is centred in the Central Tasman Sea. Forecast to 5 p.m.—Moderate winds • from a southerly quarter, fair inland, cloudy near coast, with some scartered light rain or showers; temperatures cool. Further Outlook.—Mainly fair. Weather in Dunedin.—The weather yesterday was fair and mild, with four hours of sunshine and no rain. The temperature ranged between 48.3 degrees and 53.8 degrees, the wind being from the east. The barometer reading at midnight was 29.5 inches
