ART DISPLAY
The Oamaru Art Circle Is at present holding a display of works by its members in the Polytechnic. Flower studies and landscapes in water colour and oil painting comprise the major portion of the display, while several excellent pencil drawings can also be seen. young people in this interesting hobby, and this year several have joined the group , .. About 150 paintings and drawings are . on display, and the vitality, especially in „ the paintings, shows a considerable ad- - vance in technique from those of displays in recent years.
