GLASGOW WEDDING
Bride from New Zealand In the beautiful old Park Parish Church at Lynedoch Place. Glasgow, Miss Judith Dunn, only daughter of Mr and Mrs Leslie Dunn, of George street, Dunedin, was married to Mr A. N. Montguire, of Milngavie, Glasgow. The bride, who was escorted by Mr Thomas Montguire, wore a lovely gown of ivory brocaded satin, which she had brought from New Zealand. She carried an ivory prayer book with a white satin book mark, with carnations attached, and
wore a string of real pearls. The matron-of-honour was Mrs Betty Fisher, sister of the bridegroom, and the best man was Mr Robert Fisher. The wedding reception was held at the Central Hotel Glasgow, and the honeymoon was spent in the Highlands. For travelling, the bride chose a suit of dusky pink, braided in brown, a brown velvet picture hat, and accessories in brown. She wore stonemarten furs. The bride, who was a nursing V.A. attached to the 3rd New Zealand General Hospital, met the bridegroom, a lieu-tenant-colonel in the Royal Corps of Signals, while serving in Italy during the war.
