PROGRESSIVE DOMINION
BLIND AUTHOR’S PRAISE P.A. AUCKLAND, Aug. 11. Miss Helen Keller, who will leave Auckland for Sydney and the Far East to-morrow, described her New Zealand tour to-day as an experience for which it was hard to find suitable words. “The Government is showing a splendid, enlightened spirit,” she said, “ and deserves great praise for promoting the welfare of the afflicted. In no other country is more progressive work being done. The beauty of the country and the kindness of the people deserve special vocabulary. We would like to return—perhaps good fortune will bring us.” .
