TEMPERATURES COOL The official weather forecast issued by the Government Meteorologist in Wellington is:— Situation. —An anti-cyclone is approaching the North Island from the west. Forecast to 5 p.m.—Light to moderate north to west winds; isolated showers in South Otago; otherwise weather fair; temperatures cool. Further Outlook.—Fair. Weather in Dunedin.—Although the sun shone for 3 hours 48 minutes only yesterday, conditions were pleasant, a light south-west breeze prevailing. The maximum temperature was 58.5 degrees and the minimum 40.5 degrees. , The barometer rose slightly during the day, the midnight reading being 30.25 inches.
