ALLOTT.—At Dannevirke Hospital (suddenly), on August 9, James (of Woodville), dearly beloved second son of Agnes and the late Jabez Allott, and brother of Jabez (Masterton), Mrs G. Bates (Balclutha), and Lemuel (Invercargill); in his forty-fifth year.
McCLYMONT.—On August 4, 1948 (suddenly), at the residence of his daughter, Oxford street, Patea, Douglas, beloved husband of the late Mary Frances McClymont, and loved father of Stewart, Athol and Frances; in his seventy-eighth year.
O’FEE.—On August 10, 1948, at Dunedin, Elsinore Kathleen, beloved wife of the late Edward O’Fee. of 34 Blacks road, NorthEast Valley; aged 65 years.—Private interment.—Hugh Gourley, Ltd., funeral directors.
SIME.—On August 11, 1948, at Dunedin, 26/628 Rifleman Andrew William Sime (Ist N.Z.EF.), beloved, husband of Ellen Jane Sime, 33 Brighton street Kaikoral. and loved father of Andrew and Arnold; aged 64 years. Deeply mourned. —The Funeral will leave our Chapel, 78 St. Andrew street on Friday, the 13th inst., at 2 p.m. (service at 1.45 p.m.), for the-Anderson’s Bay Cemetery.—Hope and Kinaston. funeral directors.
WHEELER.—On August 11, 1948, at the residence of his daughter, Mrs E. Tyrrell, 42 Magdala street. Tainui. Alfred Edgar, beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Wheeler, and loved father of Stanley (Paeroa). Mrs E. Tyrrell and Mrs A. McLintock (Dunedin); in his seventy-ninth year *' His end was peace.’’—The Funeral will leave 42 Magdala street on Saturday, the 14th inst, at 11 a.m. (service 10.45 a.m.), for the Anderson’s Bay Cemetery.— Hope and Kinaston, funeral directors.
