SCHOOL -FOOTBALL
The Waitaki third fifteen defeated an Otago Boys' High School team by 14 points to 8 in a match played at Milner Park, Oamaru, yesterday. The play was of a high standard throughout and bright, open football was seen. There was very little difference between the teams in both forwards and backs. Features of the game were the hard rucking by both packs and solid tackling by the backs. All the points scored by both sides were the result of back movements.
