OVERSEAS BOWLERS
INVITATIONS TO VISIT DOMINION
P.A v WELLINGTON, Aug. 11. The New Zealand Bowling Council has notified the Wellington Bowling Centre that it has been decided to invite 32 Australian bowlers and eight women to visit New Zealand in January and to invite 40 bowlers representing the American Lawn Bowlins Association to visit New Zealand during the course of the proposed New Zealand-Australia tour between December. 1949, and March, 1950. The council has also accepted the entry of a Fijian four in the Dominion tournament. All visits are subject to approval by the International Bowling Board.
