HOUSE BURGLED

SALVATION ARMY LEADER Burglars entered and ransacked the home of the Dunedin divisional commander of the Salvation Army. Major A. Chandler, on Monday evening. They stole a quantity of women’s clothing and a sum of money after strewing belongings around the rooms of the house, which is in Gi'osvenor street. South Dunedin. The family left the house at 7.30 p.m., and the burglary was discovered at 10 p.m., when they returned. It is believed the thieves entered through a window at the rear.
