AUSTRALIAN HOCKEY TEAM MATCH WITH BULLER p.A. WESTPORT, Aug. 11. In a fairly even display of hockey which delighted the large crowd at Westport to-day, the touring Australian team defeated Buller by 2 goals to 1. The visitors scored in the first few minutes when Buller was unsettled but for the rest of the game the visitors, although playing more spectacular hockey, were well matched. Actually the Buller for, warcl line was impressive with the former Canterbury representative. E. Radclitte, L. Barry and J. Euart outstanding. In the Buller half line, N. Gillovic and T. Eggleton were :in great form. Only for the great goal-keeping of J. Pointon, who was called on to save more than the Buller man, Australia must have lost. D. Siggs played a brilliant game at full-back, while F. Browne and D. Wise were in fine form in the Australian front line. For Australia, prowne and P. Kennedy scored goals, and B. Norgate. scored for‘Buller*
