VISITING TEAMS
MATCHES WITH CITY SCHOOLS Sports teams from the Craighead Girls' School, Timaru, and the Christchurch Technical College have been engaged in friendly conflict with pupils of Dunedin schools during the past two days. The Craighead representatives fared rather badly in all their engagements, losing to Columba College by 6—o in a hockey match and by 39—6 at basketball. The visitors were also beaten by St Hilda’s School, which won a hockey match by 6 goals to 1, and a basketball match by 35 to 11. The Christchurch players met with mixed success against the King Edward Technical College. The visitors won games of soccer (4—l), boys’ hockey (4 1), and basketball (16—9), but lost the Rugby (9—12) and girls’ hockey (2—3)
