ASSOCIATION'S MEETING At a meeting of the Otago Football Association last night it was decided to submit August 14 to the Southland Association as the date for the representative match with Southland. Mr W. P. Smith, who was in the chair, welcomed the captain of the visiting South Island team, Mr M. Gordon, who thanked the association for its hospitality. It was decided that at the end of the second round in the First Grade competition, the system of promotion and gation would be used —that is, the. bottom team in the A section would go into the B section next season and the top team in the B section would be promoted to the A section. It was agreed that a the end of the first round in the Second Grade competition, the teams would be divided into two sections. Tile Training College team was given permission to travel to Christchurch on July 6. Players selected to train for the Otago v. Canterbury match on July 10 are:—L. Martin (Mosgiel), T. A.
