DRAGGED BY TRUCK
ELDERLY MAN’S EXPERIENCE P.A. WELLINGTON, June 7. Knocked down by a car in Kent terrace to-night, an elderly * man was dragged several hundred yards beneath a second vehicle before being discovered. He is T. B. Hay, a night watchman, of 39 Pirie street. When admitted to the Wellington Public Hospital he was suffering from severe lacerations to the top of the head, concussion, and shock, as well as lacerations to the left knee. His condition is reported to be serious. (
