Mysterious Explosions In Victoria
MELBOURNE, Rec. 10 p.m. June C. Mysterious explosions in a clear sky at 10,000 feet over the town of Mitiamo, 40 miles north of Bendigo, have caused consternation. They were heard at points 40 miles apart and were accompanied by puffs of greyish smoke. The first explosion occurred last Thursday, since when exhaustive investigations by army and air force authorities have produced no evidence of service tests in thevicinity.
