BRITAIN’S HARVEST
TOWNSPEOPLE RALLY TO ASSIST N.Z.P.A. Special Correspondent Rec. 9 p.m. LONDON, May 26. Over 70.000 applications have already been received by the Ministry of Agriculture from townspeople who are anxious to assist with the harvesting and potato digging this _ summer Special holiday camps are being established bv the Ministry, and special trains carrying volunteer workers will be run from London to Cornwall and other parts of the country. The first of the volunteers are already arriving to assist in digging the Cornish early potato crop.
